Sicilian Mountain municipalities and inland areas are the engine for the harmonious development of the entire region. Korzystanie przez Polskę ze środków unijnych bywa kontestowane. Wydaje się konieczna i rzetelna ocena w różnych obszarach naszego życia społecznego, zwłaszcza w edukacji, zakresu i sposobu ich wykorzystania. Środki unijne w dużym stopniu wsparły różne działania. Jednak od nas samych zależy na co je wykorzystamy i jak je spożytkujemy. Badania przeprowadzone na terenie województwa opolskiego i gmin z województw sąsiednich pozwalają na stwierdzenie, że środki te przyczyniły się do aktywizacji nauczycieli, dyrekcji szkół, gmin, placówek edukacyjnych w pozyskiwaniu środków na działania podnoszące poziom wiedzy i umiejętności uczniów.
